Reviews on my debut album "Exile"
Review from Dan Kimpel
With Exile, Los Angeles based composer / songwriter / guitarist Kole paints a wide screen sonic panorama in vibrant colors framed by dazzling light and deep shadow. His technical prowess as a multi instrumentalist notwithstanding, his emerging sensibilities as a composer are at the forefront of the opulent "Fuguish," the alternately edgy/aching "Restless Nights," and the Opus triad that occupies the center of this presentation. From reverent classicism to soaring electric guitars, his palette is engrossing and endearing as it points to the emergence of a compelling new talent.

I really like the cd! The artwork is GREAT and the music is GREAT! Very melodic, personal and introspective playing. A truly great album! You should be proud of your release!

Review from UG.com
Emotionally evocative, occasionally gut-wrenching, occasionally exuberant, always intelligent, this record is splendid.

Review from Shredaholic
The album has an overall calm, relaxed style, with occasional distortion on the guitar — but not much. Kole's playing stays very focused with the backing chords and not going over the top for the sake of it, a very controlled playing style.
